Porter and Janitor - Laundry - Full Time (Horseshoe Laundry LV)

This is an hourly position preferably with previous janitorial experience that will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance at Caesars Entertainment’s Regional Laundry Facility. This role has responsibility for ensuring property is cleaned and sanitized at regular intervals with little direct oversight and maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment.

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for ensuring building trash receptacles are emptied as needed steadily throughout the day. 
• Use various cleaning chemicals depending on cleaning needs.  Chemicals shall have Safety Data Sheets (SDS) reviewed prior to usage to ensure understanding of safety and any necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) required. 
• Utilize ladders and scissor lift to access high reach areas for cleaning, dusting, and wiping.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors. 
• Work safely around high-volume commercial laundry equipment with frequent cleaning, wiping, and blowing off of equipment to reduce lint buildup. 
• Work with several hundred employees throughout the day and should display a positive attitude towards coworkers and communicate openly with facility leadership. 

Minimum Candidate Requirements 

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have good communication skills.
• Multi-lingual (English and Spanish preferred).
• Forklift driving certification (Can be provided through employment at the laundry).
• Scissor lift driving certification (Can be provided through employment at the laundry).
