About the role

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take calls and requests for rental equipment on behalf of designated
  • Coordinate and track designated accounts daily equipment pickups and returns, coordinating loop deliveries with dispatching.
  • Run reservation, delinquent and other reports to monitor designated accounts equipment availability and facilitate smooth operations.
  • Coordinate efforts with branch staff, dispatch, and outside salesperson to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for timely charge back of rental fleet recovery charges and tire repairs for designated accounts.
  • Expected to be highly proficient in using all software pertaining to rental operations including: Telogis, Vision Link, Texada, I Rental, Outlook,  Inspct, Solartrak and others, as well as simple understanding of the MS Office Suite products.
  • Grow existing rental business by establishing strong relations with designated customer base.
  • Utilize jobsite forms and/or customer processes to accurately complete rental agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts are efficiently executed completely and accurately.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years’ construction equipment sales and rental experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, or customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Candidate must be very multitasking oriented.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Develop business relationships with customers as needed to generate rental agreements
  • Able to work in office environment daily
  • Patience, adaptability and strong relationship building

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean DMV driving report.

COMPENSATION

Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
