Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and security automation with an excited initiative to explore AI and AI-Ops innovations that improve performance, reliability, and efficiency. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive scalability, compliance, and intelligent automation across hybrid platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP infrastructure.
- Enforce configuration standards, compliance checks, and policy-as-code practices.
Cloud Engineering (Azure & GCP)
- Architect and manage scalable, secure environments (AKS, GKE, App Gateway, VNets, VPCs, NSGs, Key Vault, Cloud KMS, Managed Identities).
- Implement governance, cost optimization, and compliance controls across subscriptions and projects.
CI/CD & Automation
- Build and optimize Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement blue/green, canary, and rollback deployment strategies with integrated observability and alerting.
- Experiment with AI-driven automation to optimize pipelines, detect anomalies, and enhance release reliability.
DevSecOps & Security
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, static/dynamic code analysis, and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows.
- Manage secrets, certificates, and keys using secure vault solutions (Azure Key Vault, GCP Secret Manager).
- Collaborate with security teams to align infrastructure with FedRAMP, FIPS, ISO, and PCI standards.
Monitoring, AI-Ops & Reliability
- Implement proactive monitoring using Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics.
- Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure reliability and performance.
- Contribute to AI-Ops initiatives—including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and automated incident correlation—to reduce manual effort and prevent outages.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
- Partner with product, security, and engineering teams in agile ceremonies to plan, deliver, and continuously improve.
- Participate in release management, sprint planning, retrospectives, and post-incident reviews.
- Promote a culture of automation, intelligence, and proactive reliability across the engineering organization.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in Azure and GCP cloud architecture and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes (AKS/GKE).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with AI-Ops concepts, monitoring, and event-correlation systems.
- Experience implementing security frameworks (FedRAMP, FIPS, CIS Benchmarks).
