Role Definition
This position is responsible for the inventory accuracies and parts availability in warehousing to support daily production, material planning and engineering in activities related to inventory analysis and control. This position is accountable for managing inventory by coordinating and performing daily, financial and shelf cycle counts and audits; and adjustment orders identified by inaccuracies. Manage inbound/outbound advice and the facility in transits. Participate in daily work center meeting where the direction and priority is established. It is essential that the individual possesses good communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Maintaining computerized inventory records and reporting on inventory levels, activity, and accuracy.
• Reporting expedited orders.
• Coordinating credits, returns and exchanges of inventory items.
• Ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Ensuring all transactions are complete and accurate.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and carry out Root Cause Corrective Actions to improve processes and increase inventory accuracy.
• Ensure that inventory transactions and inventory movement is captured systematically and in real time.
• Identify Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory and driving appropriate actions to improve inventory position.
• Verifying order completeness, inspecting for damage and ensuring all inbound, outbound and associated transactions are carried out appropriately.
Degree Requirement:
Degree or equivalent experience desired
Dimensions:
Works under minimal supervision and provides guidance to other less experienced warehousing technicians in activities related to inventory analysis and control. Works directly with production control, material planning and engineering to maintain inventory accuracy.
Nature & Scope:
Strong knowledge of well-established, standard professional principles, theories and concepts of CPS principles, Baan/LN system, production processes, material movement, warehousing and logistics. Follows defined procedures to document all routine information. Identifies relevant established standards, policies and practices. Fulfils routine information capture needs in own area. Uses automated tools to capture, organize and archive relevant information. Cites examples of different types of relevant information that need to be captured.
Office Support Tools:
Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software and equipment--PowerApps, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vizio, Tableau.
