About You:

Are you an innovative engineer looking to make your mark working for a financial services company? Do you want to be part of the team that is transforming the online trading industry? NinjaTrader is seeking an experienced and talented SDET who wants to make a difference by pushing the limits of technology. This candidate will be working closely with our Site Reliability Engineering team and reporting to the Software QA Manager. We are building state-of-the-art solutions for online futures trading by challenging ourselves to deliver a creative, intuitive, and scalable user experience to our customers. Successful candidates will be talented technicians and innovative thinkers who are driven to make a difference and help change an industry long held back by yesterday’s technology.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation CI/CD pipelines for various teams.Perform testing activities for cloud-based infrastructure in different environments.
• Participate in the routine code review process and proactively work with the SRE team in identifying risks with deployments.
• Create automated test scripts for infrastructure deployment checks and maintain baseline.
• Works ahead - ensuring the test architecture is responsive to evolving needs.
• Leveraging GitHub Actions, create and maintain workflows for test executions post deployments.
• Collaborate with QA, development and SRE team members on testing efforts.
• Work closely with the development team to create performance testing suites including load, spike, stress, and reliability.
• Automate performance reports by collecting data from various monitoring and observability tools.
• Assist with test documentation and production deployment checkouts.
• Embraces and enforces NinjaTrader SDLC and information security standards.

What We Look For:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in performance testing and software automation is required.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of test automation best practices, object-oriented design principles, system testing methodologies, and software testing life cycle.
• Proficient in building and maintaining Python or JavaScript based test frameworks.
• Proficient in testing backend applications, API services, and relational databases.
• Working experience with Linux based command line tools.
• Experience in understanding hardware and software resources to analyze the performance of applications is necessary.
• Experience with tools like Ansible or T
