As a Distribution Center Team Leader, you’ll be part of our growing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to manually load and unload materials, stack and wrap pallets, sort materials, and perform general labor tasks to support warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Understand and enforce all safety guidelines  

• Detect, identify and resolve any production or quality problems  

• Train and orientate new employees  

• Provide direction and guidance to teammates  

• Plan and manage resources, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution.  

• Manage the daily activities for the team.  

• Ensure housekeeping and other 5S guidelines are followed   

• Take direction and designate work assignments to associates according to business demands.   

• Must be able to problem solve and accurately count all types of items  

• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.  

• Use material handling equipment, once trained, to safely move product to wrapping station, staging area, or onto outgoing truck.  Must also use material handling equipment to unload and stage pallets for receiving.  

• Process, wrap, and label pallet at ship prep station  

• Count product to ensure accurate delivery and receipt of orders.  

• Understands and follows the Jackson site’s environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities.
