Remote Position

The Professional Services Eligibility Engineer & Delivery Instructor (PSEE/DI) will drive the enablement of our Technical Engineers, Consultants & Partners that are focused on delivering services for the Palo Alto Networks portfolio of products. The main areas of focus will be the development of a training program and the initial deliveries of the workshops based on content you have assimilated and providing quality assurance to the trained engineers and consultants. In this role you will be considered a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work closely with our product teams and Global Solution Architects (GSAs) to develop the program including the modules and interactive labs. You will develop the abilities of our internal team engineers/consultants and certified partners to deliver our products and accelerate their technical acumen and aptitude.      

 

  • Work with GSAs to develop and deliver training material to CPSP partners & PS Employees
  • Develop and monitor metrics that show effectiveness of enablement program(s)
  • Cross functional skill set with ability to quickly learn new technology and features
  • Experience with PAN partners
  • Curate and orchestrate documentation/assets to deliver CPSP workshop material
  • Assist in PSDL and LIVE content publication, partner demos, and tech strategy orchestration for program 

Your Impact

  • Network with key contacts - e.g. Global Solution Architects (GSAs), EDU Trainers and Product Managers - to create and implement technical training programs for Certified Partners
  • Contribute services expertise, including customer use cases, as part of standardized PS readiness workshops for existing and emerging technologies that are part of Professional Services (PS) deliveries.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Develop metrics to measure a learner and ensure they have met the appropriate criteria for advancement by observing and evaluating the candidates progress
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops and webinars to appropriate audiences
  • Recognize and take action on opportunities to streamline training to new hires, the field and PS partners through the development of training courses and materials
  • Determine applicable framework and flows appropriate to the course objectives including preparing and maintaining materials and the required lab environments
  • Partner with program managers maintain a proper rotation of scheduled courses based on need and demand
  • Has visibility across the organization and is able to influence multiple individuals and the group - i.e. leadership is sought out in the group
  • Must have strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate to all levels internally and most levels externally on topics in their area of expertise
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) and a go-to technical resource for new hires 
  • Travel (50-60%) for internal meetings, enablement classes, and shadowing customer engagements (Post COVID-19)

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Preferred candidate is (/will be) PCNSC certified
