Merchology seeks a Strategic Merchandising Specialist I for our Merchandising team. Reporting to the Strategic Merchandising Manager, the Strategic Merchandising Specialist I is a critical role that will drive the development and execution of innovative merchandising strategies to enhance product offerings, maximize sales potential, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful Strategic Merchandising Specialist I will:
- Manage incoming sales requests via our internal ticketing system, HubSpot.
- Support the sales team and customer experience by providing relevant and unique product suggestions for customer opportunities that showcase Merchology as a leader when it comes to premium brands and trending products.
- Collaborate with existing brand and supplier partners on solutions for customer opportunities.
- Create custom product bundles to showcase options for potential customers.
- Upload new products to the website as needed for customer opportunities.
- Enhance a customer’s existing Merch Solutions company store through adding to their product offerings.
- Assist Merchandising team with curation of the Merchology Product Showroom to feature seasonally relevant and new products and brands in preparation for client visits and tours.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Merchandising Manager to facilitate training for colleagues and customers.
- Additional projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, apparel, fashion merchandising preferred); experience considered in lieu of degree
- One or more years responsibility for managing administrative tasks related to eCommerce, branding, and merchandising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple digital platforms; knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Shopify, and Hubspot a plus
- Creativity, confidence, and ability to work independently while building relationships through highly cross-functional projects and interactions

- Remote hybrid role: Two at-home days and three onsite days, with Monday and Wednesday required
