The Principal, Inventory Planning leads inventory strategies to meet business goals. Seeking problem solver with inventory expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive inventory planning and control strategies that enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Implement Process: Help build processes to create better control and visibility as it moves through the supply chain.
- Find opportunities to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts while maintaining high service levels.
- Data Analysis: Scrutinize sales and inventory data to pinpoint trends, variances, and areas for enhancement. Generate actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure alignment between inventory plans and business goals.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, streamline operations, and implement standard methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 12 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and strategic solutions to complex challenges.
- Communication: Able to convey complex information effectively to various audiences.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $130,731.00-$183,023.40Other site ranges may differ
