• Sat-Sun 0000-0800 & Mon-Tue 0030-0830

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Lead Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts.  Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Customer service background
• Lead/Supervisory experience required

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check!

Typical Duties may include:

• Conducts an inspection of all screening officers to ensure personnel who are not meeting standards are either sent home or corrected. 
• Assists as needed with confirming a replacement screening officer if the scheduled officer is unable to work. 
• Collects the Shift Activity Report (SAR) before the end of the shift, and reviews and signs off on the report once all items are complete. 
• Follows the posting and relief process to ensure personnel reporting for duty are properly informed.
• Performs screening duties when necessary and provides relief breaks for screening officers as needed. 
• Prepares the shift posting assignments for all screening officers (day shift screening supervisor). 
• Conducts ongoing screening officer training at the discretion of the responsible site manager, 
• Evaluates, assesses, and analyzes performance of screening officers by conducting drills on SOP requirements and observing screening procedures. 
• Conducts spot remediation training when improper techniques or verbal instruction are observed.
• Completes the Screening Supervisor SAR and submits it at the end of their shift.
