Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst will support Managers and Senior Managers in developing and enhancing Tableau dashboards, optimizing reporting, and ensuring data accuracy. This role involves gathering requirements, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views, and integrating data from multiple sources. The candidate will also work with database technologies such as SQL Server (SQLS), stored procedures, and SQL tuning while managing Tableau Server operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and redesign Tableau dashboards to improve usability, performance, and business insights.
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, including custom SQL and Tableau joins, for efficient data extraction and validation.
  • Manage Tableau Server site, overseeing dashboard publishing, user access control, permissions, and performance tuning.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into actionable reports, ensuring data accuracy and validation.
  • Enhance dashboard efficiency using data visualization best practices, automation techniques, and ETL integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard creation, visualization, and report automation.
  • Experience with performance monitoring, user access, and dashboard deployment.
  • 3+ years of experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience with Alteryx and SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in data visualization and process automation.
  • Ability to generate actionable insights from data analysis.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, understand business requirements, and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL Server on GCP/AWS/Azure.
  • Background in PBM services, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Experience working with Tableau on GCP.
  • Ability to present insights effectively.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2014/2016.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
