The Legal Department is seeking to fill a contractual Administrative Coordinator position in the Financial Integrity Group (FIG). The successful candidate will support various projects in the Unit and provide the full range of administrative assistance to lawyers, financial sector specialists, and other field-based staff. Duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Performing a broad range of administrative duties with respect to the management of unit internal documents, including proofreading and formatting documents in accordance with Fund style; organizing and maintaining mission and project-related files; and sending electronic and hard copies of email correspondence to LEG’s Records Unit, where necessary and appropriate;
- Providing administrative support in organizing travel missions, including processing proforma contracts for short-term experts, arranging travel for staff, entering missions, processing travel authorizations, and processing expense claims;
- Carrying out other administrative duties as requested; and
- Backing-up other assistants during absences.
Qualifications
To be eligible for consideration, candidate must have educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and must have relevant administrative experience. Further, candidates must be physically residing within the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
The selected candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have proven administrative skills, sound judgment, and high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, as well as the ability to produce accurate work under pressure, to adapt to changing deadlines, to contribute as a team player, and to work with limited supervision in a very busy environment.
- Excellent work management skills and the ability to understand assignments quickly and appropriately and prioritize them, as required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships to support the administrative efficiency of the Unit.
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
- The ability to and interest in improving work practices, including through the effective use of technology would be an asset.
