Summary:
The Associate Director, Congress Strategy and Brand Integration will serve as lead for the strategic planning and execution of congress activities across the US and globally. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive congress strategy that delivers a consistent, high-impact brand presence, while ensuring alignment with broader brand objectives and key commercial initiatives. In addition to congress leadership, this individual will drive the integration of new data and insights into the brand narrative and support execution of priority brand projects, with opportunities for continued expansion of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Lead Development and Execution of Congress Strategy:
- Develop and implement a cohesive congress strategy, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence at priority congresses (US and worldwide).
- Oversee end-to-end planning and execution for major congresses (e.g., ESC-HF, ESC, ACC, AHA), including coordination of budgets, logistics, messaging, data presentations, and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, medical, communications, and congress excellence teams—to align on content, activities, and local regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic brand input for Sub-National Congresses, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver strategic briefings to senior leadership on congress planning and performance.
- Optimize congress execution by identifying opportunities to enhance impact and efficiency.
Brand Strategy Integration and Priority Projects:
- Integrate new data and insights into the brand narrative and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Support the execution of key brand initiatives and priority projects in alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings across global markets through the Global 2 Local Framework.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on brand planning, process improvement, and innovative pilots.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 plus years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, along with experience in congress planning and execution, strategic plan development, project management, and financial acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience with cardiovascular products is a plus.
- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics is also critical. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

Compensation Overview:
Field - United States - US: $164,990 - $199,933The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available.
