Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Contract Administrator – Level 3 to join our team in Redondo Beach CA.
As a Contract Administrator, the selected candidate will be part of the Space Sector Contracts Operations team, serving as the primary interface between the Sector and Launch & Exploration Division (LED) Contracts team. This position requires an understanding of DoD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is an independent contributor and team player with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
In this job, you will:
- Act as primary interface with the LED Contracts team for reporting, data calls, and contractual issues.
- Provide data extraction and analysis from ERP systems and contract management system(s) to support all related internal & external requests for information and data calls.
- Ability to work independently and in group settings to make decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Prioritize activities and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Provide training, systems, and tools to support program teams in executing contract terms.
- Support special projects, communications, and developing positive relationships at all levels.
- Collaborate with other Contract Operations functions to perform ongoing monitoring and compliance.
- Build customer intimacy despite geographical separation as well as being able to effectively cultivate those relationships early on.
- Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Maintain compliance with enterprise and sector requirements for contract reporting.
- Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal & external customers.
- Offer analysis and work collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from contracts, technical, program, finance, global supply chain, and security to support the establishment of appropriate policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional contracts experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional contracts experience.
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Understanding of various contract types and the requirements of government regulations, such as FAR or DFARS.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance.
