About the Role
Working in the Treasury group you will manage and enhance Treasury policy, processes and platforms to develop and deliver solutions and synergies to the current News Corporation Shared Service model. In addition, you will be a part of the cash management team responsible for liquidity, global payment processing, foreign exchange and bank account rationalization. You will be based in our Princeton, New Jersey office and report to the SVP, Tax & Treasury.
You Will:
Maintain and manage bank account liquidity, including Direct Method Cash Flow forecasting
Manage global banking relationships
Be the subject matter expert on global payments and processing and local banking regulations
Be a Primary Security Administrator across all relationship banks’ online portals
Initiate and approve internal and external funds transfers via established bank portals
Identify new opportunities to invest excess global cash balances
Implement, review and manage Treasury policies
Perform bank fee comparison and analysis
Develop and execute foreign exchange risk strategies
Analyze and Report Foreign Exchange (FX) exposure to management
Monitor and assess SOX Treasury related compliance
Perform ad-hoc duties and/or other special projects
You Have:
Minimum 5 years of Treasury Accounting and cash management experience
Bachelor’s degree in business related area (Preferably Finance or Accounting)
Strong analytical skills, Excel, Access and other applications
Familiarity with FIS Integrity Treasury Management System and eBAM (preferred)
A process and detail oriented skill set
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop both internal and external relationships
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
