We are seeking a dynamic and expert System and Tools Team Manager to join our Sales Operations department. As the System and Tools Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6 analysts who are passionate about running and optimizing our sales systems, tools, and processes. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our sales infrastructure, enabling our sales teams to perform at their best and achieve their targets. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of sales operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 6 analysts, providing clear direction, support, and performance feedback.
- Nurture a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Set team goals and objectives aligned with the department's and company's strategic objectives.
Sales Systems and Tools Management:
- Be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our sales systems and tools, such as CRM, sales automation, reporting, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to identify and implement system improvements and integrations.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the sales systems, adhering to standard methodologies and data governance policies.
Process Optimization:
- Find opportunities to streamline and improve sales processes, workflows, and data management procedures.
- Analyze system performance metrics and sales data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with partners to implement process changes and drive the adoption of new tools and technologies.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and maintain regular sales performance reports, dashboards, and analytics to deliver useful insights to sales leadership.
- Collaborate with analysts to analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to optimize sales strategies and tactics.
- Present findings and recommendations to key partners, including sales leaders, executives, and cross-functional teams.
Training and Documentation:
- Deliver training and support to sales teams on the effective use of sales systems and tools.
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures for sales processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in sales operations, system administration, or related roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating impactful teams.
- In-depth knowledge of sales systems and tools, such as Salesforce, Demand Tools, D&B Optimizer, Zoominfo, Lusha, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Outreach, Leandata, Alteryx, etc
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to drive insights and decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate sophisticated systems and processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with partners at all levels of the organization.
- Diligent with a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead multiple priorities effectively.
