The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of materials. This role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, operating power equipment, and maintaining freezer storage areas while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Lead and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Operate and oversee use of power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

  • Manage freezer storage areas, ensuring proper temperature control and compliance of product integrity standards.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation.

  • Monitor productivity and workflow, implementing process improvements as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.

  • Coordinate with other departments (production, logistics, quality) to meet delivery timelines.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare reports on inventory, productivity and staffing

 

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Experience in cold storage/freezer environments and temperature-controlled inventory management.

Technical Skills:

  • Certified or experienced in operating power equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks).

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (SAP) and inventory control processes.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards, freezer safety protocols, and material handling best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold conditions for extended periods.

The base pay range for this position is:

Min $79,800 - Max $119,700

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
