Job Description:
Perform Field training and sales support functions for Dental Service Organization (“DSO”)/Special Markets clientele in an assigned regional territory by providing effective instruction on the company’s products and/or related services in support of vendor agreements. Provide introduction of and communication on Implant Direct’s product information, services and features that will enhance the client’s organization. Secure clinical support at the office level. Support education offerings through technical hands-on assistance/training, and co-hosting educational programs as required. Forecast future education requirements. Prepare reports as required and record all activity in CRM system.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Identify and secure opportunities to develop and enable new “DSO” office engagement.
- Promote/sell/secure Leads from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Direct and manage field rep training activity within a designated territory on behalf of the DSO platform.
- Work closely with the Special Markets Sales Managers to identify new DSO opportunities, grow existing DSO accounts, and deliver proper rules of engagement for each office.
- Follow up (by phone, email, or in person) on education needs submitted to clients.
- Establish professional client / Implant Direct relationships with appropriate client personnel (purchasing, dental assistants, office managers, dentists, and key contact/point persons.)
- Submit weekly activity / call report concerning client related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning client / Implant Direct relationships to the Special Markets Manager.
- Perform all assigned duties in the assigned territory, including but not limited to meeting or exceeding all sales goals and initiatives.
- Conduct product training sessions at client locations (i.e., Lunch-and-Learns, evening programs, Regional meetings DSO annual meetings etc.)
- Provide a territory training forecast on a monthly basis.
- Record all training activity and client contact information in CRM system.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 4+ years in office clinical experience working as a Dental Assistant, RDH, Implant Coordinator or equivalent.
- High level of technical and material knowledge of the products in the dental field required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to travel within the designated geography/territory of Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ and Connecticut
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must present a strong aptitude and comfort level to personally observe and advise on dental implant procedures.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior dental or medical device experience.
- Strong data analytical skills, CRM and MS-Office applications
- Independent, creative, and competitive track record of success
- Strong critical thinking skills, adaptable, agile and solutions oriented
- Proven effective verbal, written and presentation/communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes

At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
