Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an experienced, senior-level manager to lead our Master Data Management team. In this role, you will define, develop and champion best practices in master data management to ensure optimal workflows and data integrity. With an eye toward bigger-picture data governance strategy and data migration, you will utilize your exceptional technological skills to develop, execute and document data flows across multiple systems. You will work collaboratively with various departments such as Supply Chain, Data Analytics and IT to execute strategy and consult with stakeholders to problem solve. As a people-driven manager, you know how to coach and develop a team to attain strong outcomes. A day in the office looks like this:
- Overseeing your team through data configuration and maintenance of all master data, including but not limited to customers, items, vendors, territories and all business partners
- Implementing processes and governance to ensure data integrity, data quality, data standards and change management of data across multiple groups/business functions and systems (SAP)
- Capturing and reporting critical data to senior management in clear, easy-to-read formatting—including pricing and costs analysis and product margin analysis
- Managing the team through hands-on coaching, training and consistency of expectations while providing direction and clear feedback
- Developing best practices for data workflow, as well as documenting processes to ensure optimal data flow and user adoption
- Collaborating with IT to install any system changes and conducting User Acceptance Training
- Supporting the business teams, including the Order Department, Sales, Supply Chain, Data Analytics and other departments on strategy execution
- Representing the department at interdepartmental meetings
- Developing policies, procedures and performance metrics in accordance with operating requirements and company goals
Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of Master Data Management in an ERP system, SAP S/4 HANA strongly preferred
- Excellent performance-development, coaching and mentoring skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, superb attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Strong process-management and digital workflow skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Excellent problem-solving skills applicable to both creative and practical needs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI, etc.)
- Solid team approach combined with a flexible mindset that can adapt to competing priorities and deadlines
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to comfortably present ideas in a collaborative setting
- Ability to question, understand and challenge development

- Salary: $135,000-$155,000 with an annual bonus of up to 15%
