Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Unit

Tallahassee, FL

Salary & Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case)

• Shift Differentials:

  • Night Shift: +$3.00/hr

  • Weekend Shift: +$2.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient health status

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Serve as a patient advocate ensuring safety and dignity

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

• Provide education to patients and families on treatment and medications

• Respond to and manage clinical situations autonomously

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license (or eligibility to obtain before start)

• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience

• Acute care experience preferred (LTAC accepted)

• BLS certification required

• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

• BSN preferred

Work Environment:

• Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6

• Shift Options:

  • Days: 7 AM – 7 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM (Rotating Weekends)
