Real Estate Operations and Fiscal Analyst

Job Description
The position reports to the Assistant Director of Real Estate Services and serves as an administrative and fiscal analyst for the department by performing a wide variety of duties in support of the university's leasing and real estate functions, including, but not limited to, systems data entry, payable and receivable processing, departmental reconciliations, facility management, contract and policy/procedure administration.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Accounting or related field; or equivalent level of relevant experience.
• Experience working with HokieMart and Banner, or equivalent computer programs.
• Demonstrated experience in analyzing a wide variety of business operations and policy issues; experience with contract management and compliance management.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of computer applications for data analysis and report development displaying a strong understanding of purchasing and work order systems or equivalent computer programs.
• Experience independently drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Experience that demonstrates professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently; excellent organizational skills; and ability to work collaboratively in a higher education environment.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other of computer applications for data analysis and report development.
• Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with HokieServ (AIM).
• Experience working in a university setting.
• Knowledge of state (Virginia) contract management and compliance management policies and procedures.
