Amazing position for a motivated, independent pharmacy technician to work with patients as part of our Prescription Assistance Program (PAP). This program provides our community benefit to patients who would otherwise be unable to afford their medications. Our patients need a coordinatior who is self-motivated, organized and thorough to help our patients who are uninsured or uunderinsured for prescription coverage.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Coordinate patient assistance programs for uninsured and underinsured patients

• Obtains necessary documents for procuring free drugs, grants or copay assistance cards

• Maintain all the required documents for compliance and audit

• Stays current with patient assistance programs

• Recommend purchases based on contract pricing, knowledge of vendors and insurance benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required High School Diploma/GED

• 3 years Pharmacy Preferred

• 2 years Medication Purchasing Preferred

• Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) - State Licensing Board

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
