The Director, Program Management & Solution Delivery is a senior leadership role accountable for end‑to‑end program execution, governance, and delivery excellence for Pfizer’s SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Foundations program.

BDC Foundations is a strategic, multi‑year enterprise initiative establishing a single, trusted data foundation to enable faster, smarter decision‑making powered by analytics and AI. The program reduces data complexity, strengthens governance, and ensures scalable access to business‑critical data across Pfizer’s enterprise.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

This role provides program‑level leadership across planning, delivery, financial management, dependency orchestration, and stakeholder communications, partnering closely with SAP Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders. The Director ensures incremental value delivery while building a durable, future‑ready data foundation supporting ERP, BW/4HANA, and AI‑enabled analytics platforms.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

Program Leadership & Delivery

• Own end‑to‑end program execution for BDC Foundations, from roadmap definition through rollout, stabilization, and scale.

• Drive integrated program planning across multiple workstreams including BW/4HANA, SAP Data products, platform enablement, and analytics consumers.

• Ensure delivery commitments are met across scope, timeline, quality, and value realization.

Portfolio & Governance Management

• Implement standardized program and portfolio management frameworks, aligned with central Pfizer portfolio processes.

• Lead governance forums, intake prioritization, dependency management, and risk escalation across BDC initiatives.

• Maintain transparency into delivery health, financial health, and cross‑program dependencies.

Financial & Capacity Management

• Oversee program financial planning, investment tracking, and funding alignment for a multi‑year transformation.

• Partner with finance and leadership to manage capital and run‑state investments associated with BDC Foundations.

• Optimize resource capacity across internal teams and contracted resources supporting the program.

Stakeholder & Communication Leadership

• Serve as the primary enterprise point of contact for BDC Foundations program status, risks, and outcomes.

• Translate complex technical and delivery topics into clear executive‑ready insights for senior leadership.

• Ensure consistent, transparent communication across business, technology, and leadership stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Metrics

• Define and track key operational and delivery metrics aligned to program objectives: adoption, stability, financials, and value delivery.

• Establish standardized program dashboards and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making.

• Drive continuous improvement across delivery execution and governance processes.

Innovation & Forward Thinking

• Stays current with industry trends and best practices in SAP operations, data, analytics, and automation.

QUALIFICATIONS
