Humana’s Group Medicare Marketing team is looking for an experienced and passionate Product Marketing Lead who is hyper customer focused with an ability to understand complex business models and develop marketing strategies that drive desired business outcomes. As the Product Marketing Lead, you will lead the planning, development and execution of annual marketing strategies supporting prospective plan sponsors of Humana's Group Medicare products - including strategies to drive acquisition and retention of groups. The Lead requires a solid understanding of the end-to-end Group Medicare sales funnel. You will manage multiple projects from concept to completion, drive strategy and execution, and collaborate with senior-level leaders and across teams of managers, consultants and analysts.

Additionally, you will lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans and associated marketing strategies on behalf of Group Medicare. Multi-channel marketing strategies will be deployed in support of B2B growth and retention objectives and may include training and selling aids, brochures, catalogues, display advertising, fact sheets, and information booklets. Working with executives across multiple markets, the Lead position will help to conceptualize, design, and activate marketing strategies that enhance the understanding of the Group Medicare value proposition.

Key Role Functions

  • Drive the activation of Group Medicare value story in support of group acquisition and retention
  • Conceptualize, lead and manage cross-functional teams in the development of marketing plans based on business partner objectives
  • Identify opportunities and manage cross-functional team’s development of analytics to inform marketing plans and strategies; then lead teams to use insights to develop strong marketing plans based on the unique needs of the markets
  • Collaborate with executives across the markets to identify business needs based on objectives and then develop and activate solutions that help to support measurable impacts to their business
  • Liaise with external vendors and agencies (e.g. research agencies, brand agencies, media analytic partners) to ensure that their work meets the organization's strategy and business requirements, deadlines, and budget
  • Lead the development of annual marketing plans based on corporate and business objectives
  • Influence internal and external partners to inform, develop and activate marketing strategies that drive trust with groups and their retirees
  • Prepare presentations decks to address detailed performance needs
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Group Medicare prospect needs which will be translated into winning marketing strategies

This role is a nationwide remote role that will report to the Director of Group Medicare Marketing and work closely with the Group Medicare member marketing team and the Group Medicare leadership team providing trusted counsel on content strategy and marketing direction, target audience development and brand positioning Group Medicare to grow, retain and engage the customer base.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience

  • 7+ years of marketing strategy, digital marketing and/or product/content marketing experience

  • Outstanding, demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a diverse set of projects

  • Strong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and developing insights from data

  • Strong, demonstrated strategic and consulting skills

  • Ability to influence and collaborate in a cross-functional environment

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • Knowledge of Medicare, specifically Group Medicare

  • Experience building compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership
