We are looking for an experienced CPO or CP to join our AllClaims Team as a Clinical Specialist. Great opportunity for someone looking to work remote!
The position of Clinical Specialist requires clinical expertise, patient care experience, knowledge of billing and coding, ability to communicate clearly, and teamwork. This opportunity is for a Certified Prosthetist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist with at least 5 years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will be licensed or meet the criteria for licensure in the states where Ottobock AllClaims billing is offered. The Clinical Specialist will review prosthetic claims prior to billing for accuracy, compliance, and thoroughness. He/she will communicate their assessment internally with the AllClaims team and externally with the AllClaims customers. Patient evaluation and interaction will be required for some claims to augment documentation provided and for compliance with payers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive initial and follow-up concurrent reviews of medical records in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to clarify incomplete or inadequate documentation and offer guidance for resolution
- Understanding and application of medical policy criteria for claim compliance
- Respond to claim inquiries and denials in a timely manner
- Comply with HIPAA and code of conduct policies and procedures
Qualifications
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with billing and claim management in Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to resolve problems
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, employing tact and effectiveness
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Working knowledge of Medicare LCD and billing policies
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced degree in Prosthetics
- Certification in Prosthetics or Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Applicable licensure in Prosthetics or Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Maintain license and certification
Compensation Data
Salary Disclosure Range: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 (with annual bonus potential)
