Children’s Home Society, Sioux Falls, is currently seeking a Residential Team Coordinator to work as part of a team providing supervision and care of children.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor performance and conduct performance evaluations.
- Act as a resource for staff questions.
- Provide input in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Provide input with formulating standards and setting measurements/goals.
- Assist in training new and existing staff.
- Document the schedule of therapeutic daily activities by direct care staff, if applicable.
- Oversee/conduct required shift logs/documentation.
- Report critical information to treatment team as needed by end of shift.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- May teach and implement Agency procedures and practices.
- May teach and implement First Aid and Infection Control practices.
- Assume Residential Youth Counselor tasks for breaks and as needed.
- Administer medications according to Agency policy.
- Ensure campus buildings are secure and report any suspicious activity.
- Attend required annual training. Maintain required certifications and proficiencies.

- 1:1 meetings are held bi-monthly.
- Fire/emergency drills are completed as required.
- Medication management adherence is consistently followed.
- Ensures monthly activities calendar is updated.
- Required annual training for self and direct reports is completed and missed training completed within 30 days.
- Score of at least a 90% on all competency exams.
- Employee feedback is satisfactory.
- Logs/documentation/record reviews are satisfactory.
- Performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.
- Licensing and accreditation survey results are satisfactory.
- Training and certifications meet licensing, accreditation, and Agency standards.
- Confidentiality is consistently maintained.
- Agency policy is consistently followed without deviation.
Schedule:
Sunday: 8am-10pm
Monday: 2pm-10pm
Tuesday: 2pm-10pm
Wednesday: 12pm-10pm or 12pm-5pm (these hours rotate every other week)
*NOTE: every 6 months the schedule rotates from the above schedule to a Wednesday-Saturday schedule with similar hours.
Compensation: $22.00/hr. + up to $2/hr. shift differential pay

Requirements
Experience/Education/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Residential environment focused on care and treatment of children with behavioral issues. Must be able to physically restrain a child in ways taught by the Agency while being able to verbally communicate to the child and other s
