About the Opportunity

WeWork is looking for a talented Event Partnership Manager to join the Global Marketing team, based in New York or London. The role will play a pivotal part in identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that enhance our brand presence and drive business growth. The Event Partnerships Manager will develop scalable partnership strategies, identify high-impact opportunities, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to execute global, multi-channel partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker, excellent communication skills, negotiation expertise, outstanding project management skills, and an understanding of marketing principles. They will focus on projects that include, but are not limited to, advancement of the scalable partnerships framework, onboarding and management of affinity and affiliate partners, marketing and event partnership exploration, development of large-scale marketing brand partnerships, event partnerships, and regional partnership support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Events & Partnerships to help strategically plan and execute global and regional partnerships in collaboration with all marketing departments and external stakeholders. 

  • Manage global partnerships framework to ensure that initiatives and collateral developed with all departments (Sales, Community, People etc.) align to marketing guidelines.

  • Create co-marketing partnerships to drive customer acquisition and conversion, including procuring, negotiating and managing the relationship.

  • Consult with local teams as needed on best practices, recommendations and toolkits to enable success.

  • Serve as brand marketing liaison for partnerships developed with cross-functional teams, ensuring that partnership marketing material and initiatives are consistent and on brand.  

  • Oversee the execution of major multi-channel marketing brand partnerships, in collaboration with key stakeholders. 

  • Cultivate relationships with potential vendors, providers and partners to stay on top of new and potential opportunities (both paid and barter).

  • Analyze partnership performance metrics and provide frequent reports with insights and recommendations in partnership with Marketing Analytics.

  • Lead/participate in marketing team meetings, sales training sessions, company meetings, and industry events as needed. 

Appealing candidates will:

  • Have 6+ years of proven experience in strategic partnerships or business development (or related field). 

  • Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and reporting on results.

  • Experience in strategic planning, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent project management, time management and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Be an outstanding team player, embodying the WeWork spirit and values.

  • Be a top-tier collaborator with the ability to operate cross-functionally.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects quickly.

  • Passion for a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $99,750 - $120,000

Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, Life & AD&D insurance.
