About the role

The Senior Intelligence Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop and publish Power BI reports, and continuously collect feedback to enhance data visualizations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and experience with Power BI and data visualization tools. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, communicate effectively, and take ownership of improving the quality of reports.

  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop, design, and publish interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide insights.
  • Collect feedback on data visualizations and make necessary enhancements.
  • Create detailed functional specifications and communicate requirements to the development team.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Power BI reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of published reports and make necessary updates.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure clear communication and understanding among stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and Power BI.
  • Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and findings to senior management.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating proactive and timely communication.
  • Translates business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information.
Qualifications COMPETENCIES
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A logical thinker who can draw conclusions inductively and communicate the thought process effectively with stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of charts and statistical language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive in addressing issues and communicating progress to stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE
  • 3- 5 years experience as a Business Analyst gathering user requirements (with a focus on data visualization is a plus).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, MS PowerBI)
  • Experience conducting data audits and mapping data flows.
  • Professional certifications related to business analysis or data visualization (e.g., CBAP, Microsoft Data Analyst Associate).
  • Familiarity with database management/ data warehousing concepts.
