About the Role

Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the machine setup and tear down, troubleshooting of equipment, & repairs and preventive maintenance services. The ideal candidate should live in the Newark, DE area or is willing to commute.

Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

What You Will Do

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.

• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.

• Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance program for the facility and equipment.

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.

• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

• All other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of related experience in with manufacturing machinery.

• Technical training: exposure to various types of manufacturing machinery preferred.

• Requires ability to perform general to advance math computations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.

• Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.

• Ability to lift approximately 40+ lbs.

• Frequent exposure to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation

Starting hourly rate $26.00 + benefits + annual incentive bonus
