Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team in the Family Practice department.

Day shift - no weekends

The Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN will:

• Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
• Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
• Assist during procedures
• Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
• Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
• Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
• Participate in and support patient education
• Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
• Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
• Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA Licensed Practical Nurse LPN position:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant experience, Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program within six months of hire
• Or Licensed Practical Nurse accreditation 
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency

The successful Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse candidate will be subject to a background check.
