About the role

The Leidos Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is seeking a Senior AI Engagement & Enablement Specialist; this position will allow for full time telework from any U.S. based location.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The CDAO is a new, high-growth organization at the center of the company's technology strategy and this role is essential for leading the strategy and execution of enterprise-wide engagement programs that foster an AI-savvy culture, build a vibrant community, and accelerate the adoption of our AI tools and capabilities.

As a Senior AI Engagement & Enablement Specialist, you will serve as a strategic leader and key evangelist for our human-centered AI philosophy. You will be responsible for developing and owning the engagement strategy, designing comprehensive campaigns, producing compelling content, and orchestrating high-impact events that empower our workforce to leverage AI responsibly. You will also mentor more junior team members and act as a trusted advisor to leadership on cultural transformation initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engagement Strategy Development & Ownership: Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy to build a vibrant, AI-fluent culture across the enterprise, aligning initiatives directly with organizational strategic goals and measuring outcomes against defined KPIs.
  • Content Strategy & Enablement: Lead the content strategy and oversee the creation of compelling, multi-channel content, including blog/vlog posts, presentations, internal communications, and executive briefings, to promote the value and responsible use of AI across diverse audiences.
  • Community Building & Event Strategy: Design and lead a scalable community-based program, including the strategic planning and execution of events, workshops, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance AI awareness, drive collaboration, and foster continuous learning across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, championing AI initiatives, synthesizing feedback, and providing strategic recommendations to ensure engagement programs meet evolving workforce needs.
  • Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Establish frameworks for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of engagement initiatives using performance metrics, feedback loops, and data-driven insights to demonstrate cultural impact and drive continuous program improvement.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to more junior team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring consistency and quality across all initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Communications, Learning & Development, and business unit leaders to integrate AI engagement efforts into broader organizational change management and workforce development strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, coupled with 12+ years of relevant experience in community management, marketing, corporate communications, or employee engagement, with a demonstrated track record of leading strategic programs.
  • Deep understanding of AI concepts, trends, and their applications in a business or enterprise context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to develop content strategies and create clear, engaging content for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale engagement or community-building programs (virtual or in-person) with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members or cross-functional project teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a technology-driven organization or a government contracting environment.
  • A strong passion for Artificial Intelligence and its transformative potential, with demonstrated thought leadership in the AI or technology space.
  • Expertise in internal communications strategies, change management, and employee engagement program design.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital content creation tools, and analytics/reporting platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets and resource plans.
