Senior Scrum Master

About your role:

As a Senior Scrum Master you will be a part part of a delivery team that is building the Commerce Hub platform. Built to deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations, the Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.

A true single-entry point and intelligent orchestration layer provides access to the latest, most popular commerce experiences through merchants' existing infrastructure. With less ongoing maintenance and fewer operational costs, merchants can focus on creating new ways for consumers to discover and interact with them.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide Agile leadership to distributed Product development teams
  • Maintain and grow an environment that enables teams to embrace agile values, enact agile practices, continually assess and abide by agreements, and continually improve
  • Use data to assess progress, areas needing improvement, increase predictability
  • Maintenance of artifacts such as Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Burndown Charts, etc.
  • Proactively identify potential obstacles and eliminate them for and with the teams through active solutions and quality assurance measures (moderation and mediation)
  • Close cooperation and coordination with Product Owners, agile teams, and other Scrum Masters
  • Protect and challenge the Scrum team in self-organization and taking responsibility to achieve the goals without losing sight of the Program goals
  • Provide important artifacts in the form of meeting notes, documentation, follow-up items, etc.
  • Prepare Sprint Status and Capacity Estimations reporting for the Development Team(s)

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 13+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master
  • 10+ year of experience in Microsoft Suite, Clarity, Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
  • 5+ years of experience in performing both Scrum Master and Project Manager responsibilities simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in Fiserv applications/systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Other role experience – Developer, QA, PM, BA
  • Experience in digital commerce/payments
  • Building systems and making updates with system performance, stability and reliability in mind
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Important information about this role:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered
