We are looking for a 

Master Thesis Worker - Enterprise Data Architecture 

to join Normet’s Group IT Business Solutions Management team in headquarter Espoo.  

The team is responsible for end-to-end business solutions across different IT platforms, solution architecture landscape, data architecture, and governance.  

In this position, you will participate in building and enhancing our Enterprise Data Architecture and Governance models in collaboration with various departments to align business objectives and build the foundation for data-driven decision-making.  

Main responsibilities and tasks:  

• Studying and developing data standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data across the organization. 

• Evaluating data architecture and governance framework models to manage data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. 

• Helping design and implement data architecture and models that support business processes and analytical needs, ensuring scalability and performance. 

• Helping design and implement enhanced data governance model to Normet 

To shine in this position, we hope you have:    

• Master degree’s student in University of Technology, Industrial Engineering and Management & Information Management areas of study preferred. 

• Strong analytical and research skills. 

• Desire to learn and understand new concepts, technologies, and methodologies, and to apply this knowledge to improve data management practices. 

• Theoretical and Technical knowledge of data architecture and management. 

• Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data strategies with business goals. 

• Sufficient interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. 

• Good written and verbal English language. 

• Experience working with different cultures in an international setting (studies abroad is considered an asset). 

• Ability to work independently when needed. 

• Capability of working well under pressure and with tight deadlines
