Quality Assurance Manager - Bay City, TX

Entity/Department: Tenaris Bay City Inc.
Location: Bay City, TX

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

Coordinates Quality Assurance activities, e.g. development of local documents, management of Quality events (customer claims/dissatisfaction, non-conformities, improvement actions).
Develops and updates the necessary procedures, instructions and specifications to ensure Quality System conformity according to internal/external quality standards.
Generates and analyzes quality indicators to identify process performance and/or product quality.
Oversees the proper execution of internal and supplier audits, and receives the external audits.
Follows up on Quality events (customer claims/dissatisfaction, non- conformities, improvement actions). To comply with HSE procedures, reports any incident or observation, performs inspections and participates in the investigation process.
Implements the preventive/corrective actions. Keeps updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
Four (4) years of experience in job offered or four (4) years of experience in a Quality Assurance management occupation performing each of the following: QMS management and development; document management processes; BI tools and SAP; Quality Management System international standards (ISO9001, ISO17025, API Q1, API Q2, IATF 16949) and product specifications (API 5CT, API 5L); Quality audits techniques management of quality internal events, documental system, management of change (MOC).
