Job Summary:   

As the Commercial Director (CD) of Biomerics Interventional Medical Plastics, you will play a pivotal role within Plastics Group at Biomerics. You will be responsible for shaping the commercial vision, strategy, and execution plans to drive revenue growth. This role involves forging partnerships with a diverse customer base, aligning their needs with Biomerics' technical capabilities, and overseeing account management and customer relationships. You may lead a team, including Estimators, to support the Commercial team’s objectives. Interventional Medical Plastics includes the following technologies/capabilities: 

  • Injection Molding 
  • Liquid Resin Casting 
  • Advanced Thermoforming 
  • Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) 


Responsibilities:  

  • Market Assessment: Conduct comprehensive market assessments, analyzing market size, segmentation, competitors, customer needs, and industry trends.? 
  • Market Strategy: Identify and target key markets, applications, and customers to drive sustainable business growth.? 
  • Product/Technology Strategy: Oversee product/technology management and development plans, including lifecycle management, new product/technology initiatives, and process technologies to meet market demands.? 
  • Price Management: Manage pricing strategies, including quoting models, price targets, price adjustments, and competitive analysis.? 
  • Customer Relationships: Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to nurture strategic customer relationships and ensure top-tier service and account management.? 
  • Market Placement and Messaging: Partner with marketing and sales teams to enhance product visibility and messaging through various channels, including digital platforms, marketing tools, campaigns, and customer events.? 
  • Communication and Operations Support: Articulate commercial strategies and market needs to all relevant business functions, including engineering and operations, to develop and sustain infrastructure that supports strategic goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to explore new opportunities, define commercial structures, and create actionable plans.? 
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a dynamic portfolio of business development opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.? 
  • M&A Support: Monitor competitors and potential acquisition targets that align with strategic objectives.? 
  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that align with Biomerics’ objectives and growth targets.? 
  • COE Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of the Center of Excellence (COE) strategy to drive growth and operational excellence.? 
  • Commercial Technology SME: Act as the subject matter expert in commercial technology, leveraging expertise to drive innovation and competitive advantage.? 
  • Pipeline Conversion: Manage the conversion of business development opportunities into successful projects, ensuring efficient pipeline management.? 
  • COE Growth: Drive growth and expansion within the Center of Excellence, aligning with broader business strategies.?
