About the role
Wood is seeking an “Expression of Interest” for an experienced Site Contract lead for a LNG terminal long-term maintenance project in Brownsville, TX .The Site Contract Lead is responsible for the overall delivery of the contract and the management of the relationship with the Owner. This role ensures the seamless transition from Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Operational phases as per the agreed plan/schedule. The Site Contract Lead acts as the primary point of contact for day-to-day issues, representing the Site Owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee the delivery of the contract and maintain a strong relationship with the Owner.
- Transition Management: Manage the transition from Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Operational phases according to the plan/schedule.
- Site Representation: Serve as the Site Owner Representative for daily issues.
- Process Implementation: Implement all contractor processes relevant to the project.
- HR and Payroll: Handle personnel payroll and HR issues.
- Internal Communications: Deliver internal contractor communications.
- Training and Competency: Ensure personnel training and competency compliance.
- Mobilization/Demobilization: Manage the mobilization and demobilization of contractor plant and equipment.
- Reporting: Fulfill all reporting requirements.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve disputes within the contractor’s organization.
- Incident Management: Investigate incidents, take actions, and ensure ownership for contractor personnel.
- KPI Delivery: Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Supply Management: Ensure the supply of all Contractor Provided Items including any plant, equipment, and PPE as required and in acceptable condition.
- Coordination: Coordinate site personnel, third-party contractors, contractor equipment, and servicing requirements.
- Training Coordination: Oversee contractor training and competency requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ Years managing maintenance service contracts
- Certified in Maintenance & Reliability (ex. CMRP)
- Certification in Project Management (ex. PMP)
- Proven experience in contract management and site operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in HR and payroll management.
- Competency in incident investigation and dispute resolution.
- Familiarity with training and competency compliance.
