Medical Assistant

Job description:Internal Medicine office looking for an experienced bilingual English/Spanish MedicalAssistant in the Stockton area. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred. Familiaritywith Epic EMR is a strong plus. Must have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Must be dependable and reliable withexcellent attendance. Must be able to to perform EKG’s and vital signs.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills required
• Medical terminology, familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures and reference tools, and pharmacology appropriate to the Medical Assistant scope of practice required
• Keyboarding skills and the ability to utilize computer equipment and software required, as is experience with other types of standard office equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3 years experience in the medical field. Must be able to perform EKG’s and vital signs.
• Must be highly professional and share our commitment to patient care and service.
• Ability to use good judgment in the course of contact with physicians, patients and staff. Must be able to multitask.
• Must be a team player, able to learn quickly, dependable and reliable.
• Bilingual preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate
