Purpose Statement

 The Sales Manager, Non- Commercial  will execute Foodservice customer business plans to grow the base business and secure new business.  

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Execute the strategy of the On-Site (Non-Commercial) Foodservice segment
  • Exceed account sales and profit goals with targeted accounts
  • Work in tandem with the Director, Sales - On Site (Non-Commercial) to establish and maintain a list of On-Site (Non-Commercial) customer targets
  • Identify and initiate customer projects from the Customer business plans to grow base business and secure new business

      -  make recommendations of trade spend requirements for customer projects

  • Develop and execute LTO, new product launches and category management growth promotions to increase demand
  • Understand all the contract terms for assigned accounts, obligations and pricing trigger points

-  utilize data and analytics to govern (e.g.; Sales Planning, etc.)

  • Negotiate & implement customer pricing and trade programs for profitable outcomes.

- understand and utilize P&Ls to drive financial targets

  • Negotiate & finalize customer contracts with both customers and Rich’s internal departments.
  • Communicate the support requirements for their customer business plans to Division leadership, Category Business Unit and Demand Creation Center Of Excellence
  • Work in tandem with the Director, Sales (Zone) and Director, Sales (K-12) on the execution of a business plan against the Healthcare/College and University segments

- partnering with Director, Sales (Zone) in identifying resources needs

- direct the Culinary support of the Customer business plans including customer presentations, menu development and operational support

- leverage and execute through the broker’s non-commercial resources

  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Sales Planning to drive customer engagement, solicit Voice Of Customer, & develop solutions to drive growth.
  • Manage customer RFPs for assigned accounts, including all aspects of the process internally and externally.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our On-Site (Non-Commercial) customer’s business model by utilizing our CRM tool
  • Develop and manage the budget required for their On-Site (Non-Commercial) business building projects
  • Manage expense and event budgets.
  • Stay current with industry/segment knowledge/trends to utilize in business plans

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (business mgt, finance, or marketing preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of successful experience in food industry sales required, Non-Commercial accounts; Non-Commercial sales proven track record of success preferred
  • Proven track record and ability to achieve sales results
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to include strong presentation skills
  • Customer marketing experience preferred
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding of P&L and customer cost drivers
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Foodservice Industry including customer organizational alignment, decision making process and key profit drivers – demonstrated ability in communicating how customers make money
  • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

 

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$122,900.00 - $184,500.00
