Position Overview:

The Citi’s Cloud Technology Services team is home to deeply talented colleagues that work on the entire technology stack to enable modern and secure infrastructure to ensure the safety of Citi's clients' and our proprietary data. We manage information security as one end-to end program – one with a clear mandate and accountability. CTS’ Network and Data Center Services (NDCS) team is responsible for delivering integrated infrastructure and network services with special focus on security at the foundation. Within NDCS, Global Perimeter Security Services team is responsible to deliver layered defense in depth technologies and innovation at global scale. This role entails leading and coordinating the execution of Critical Cyber Security Defense components and related programs across the perimeter security domain.

The role includes both Run the Bank and Change Back Activities, however heavily focusing on Change the Bank activities: design, deploy and manage automated Enterprise Edge Security solutions focusing on Web Application Firewalls, DDoS protection and Content Delivery Networks.

Change the Bank activities involve significant focus on efficacy, capacity and overall user experience on Citi’s customer facing edge infrastructure, delivering end to end observability and automation for these critical components.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead a virtual team of Infrastructure Defense professionals.
• Lead CTB transformational and RTB activities across NDCS and act as focal point managing cyber security platforms
• Lead the design, own and innovate Citi’s Edge Security Platforms and Ecosystems, such as WAF, CDN, Telemetry and Observability from External Vantage Points.
• Deliver end-to-end service monitoring capability focusing on resiliency and availability of client facing services.
• Working with Transformation Program Directors, Senior Architects, Steering Committees on execution of perimeter security and edge security programs
• Work with global cyber security industry partners on influencing next generation cyber technology, take part in related R&D efforts.
