Overview
Triumph Geared Solutions - Park City (TGS-PC) is seeking an Intern, Pricing Analyst for its Contracts team. It is expected that the incumbent of this position will work around their course schedule during the semester and full-time during breaks between semesters. A hybrid work schedule is acceptable on agreement with management.
Responsibilities
As the Intern - Pricing Analyst, you will prepare and analyze data and information to
- Compile cost & pricing data to support bids and proposals
- Analyze and compare historic cost information vs. the bid package for approval
- Document processes and procedures
- Write work instructions for pricing tools in use at TGS
- Works cross functionally to ensure good data is received in from all functions to ensure the most accurate quoting possible
- Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database and quote log. Upgrade the quote log to allow for better metrics and KPI reporting
- Automate weekly and monthly KPI reporting
- Define new / update business procedures, evaluate resource and tool requirements for pricing.
- Support total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the following: engineering, math, accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Understanding of cost structure used to develop estimates.
- Ability to enter information into an ERP system and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to draft basis of estimates.
- Ability to articulate the proposal’s winning strategy using tools such PowerPoint, cost structures, or excel.
- Creative thinking with ability to multi-task
- Highly organized project management skills to coordinate resources and manage multiple activities to meet established proposal deadlines.
- Open to a changing environment and able to adapt to business changes.
- US Citizenship is required.
