Job Description:
As the ORBIS Australia, United Kingdom, and United States, (AUKUS) emergency planning and response project lead, you will lead and manage the successful planning, training, and certification of an emergency planning and response team supporting nuclear maintenance and operations that are part of Submarine Rotational Force - West (SRF-W).
You will support our client and a multinational group of professionals in the codification and practice of emergency response principles and actions that meet the standards of both the American and Australian regulatory bodies. This will include on site coaching, mentoring, and evaluation of response team members as required with up to 25% travel.
As a senior leader, you will conduct briefings and engage with stakeholders
Required Skills and Experiences:
Experience as an emergency planning and response team, table, and/or emergency control center lead. Experience in standing up and certifying teams and facilities to stringent national and Naval Reactors standards is desired.
A collaborative nature and the ability to coach, mentor and teach.
Exemplary communication skills both oral and written.
Degree Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or 5 years of specialized experience in Naval Nuclear Power Emergency response.
