Mission:

Your role requires wholeheartedly embracing Smartcat's culture and championing it within the organization. Your key responsibility is to ensure that the company's business objectives are in harmony with the needs and expectations of its employees. You will be in charge of delivering services that add value to both management and the workforce, aligning them with the overarching business goals.

Your range of responsibilities covers everything from onboarding new team members to leading and cultivating teams, overseeing talent development, and conducting performance reviews. In this capacity, you will act as the central point of contact for all HR-related matters, offering guidance and support, all while fostering positive relationships throughout the organization.

Your outcomes:

• Reduce annual voluntary turnover by 50% within the first 9-12 months.
• Within 12 months, boost the retention rate of employees who have been with the company for 1.5+ years by 30%.
• Elevate Employee Engagement and Satisfaction (measured using eNPS) by 30% in 6-9 months.
• Enhance the performance management system and track the percentage of employees meeting or surpassing performance expectations while measuring the impact on performance improvement over time.

Responsibilities: 

• Onboard and support employees, ensuring a swift and informed transition to their roles.
• Manage complex employee relations issues with objectivity and thorough investigations.
• Oversee performance management, training, and development, aligned with company needs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive HR processes and policies.
• Enhance morale, productivity, and retention through cross-functional meetings and company-wide initiatives.
• Cultivate a positive work environment, improve internal communications, and manage compensation and benefits.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements and collaborate with the legal department when necessary.
• Support and advise employees globally on HR-related matters.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in HR BP or HRD roles within a multinational remote IT business.
• Proficiency in working with remote teams across different time zones.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in understanding the company's organizational structure, job roles, qualifications, and compensation practices.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Russian and English.
• A data-driven approach with the ability to substantiate decisions using concrete metrics.
• Demonstrated integrity and unwavering commitment.
• A growth mindset, and willingness to adapt and learn continuously.
• Preparedness to work in a dynamic startup environment that demands intense focus, a strong sense of ownership, and perseverance to overcome challenges.
