About this role
What will you be responsible for?
Newmont will once again be sponsoring a student employment program for Summer 2024. The intent of this program is to provide temporary labor to CC&V by hiring recent high school graduates and college students during summer break. Students must be dependent children of a Newmont CC&V employee. We believe this is a phenomenal opportunity for both the site, in need of a supplemental workforce during the summer months and the students who would like to earn money for college.

Training, Skills & Experience Checklist
Here is what we would need to see from you!
- Be listed as a dependent student child of a full-time CC&V employee.
- Current enrollment in college or a continuing education program as a full-time student for fall 2024 (12 credits min).
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Have graduated from high school by spring 2024; or completed at least two semesters of post high school education (24 credits) by June 2024.
- Be at least 18 years old by June 1, 2024.
- Be available to work for 9-12 weeks.
- The program ends on or before August 25, 2024.
