About the role

N1 is seeking an Associate to work directly with the partners of N1 on public equity investment opportunities in the technology sector. The Associate is a critical team member who will assist with research, analytics, and presentation materials for investment ideas. Experience with full statement financial modeling, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Exceptional career growth opportunity that includes engagement with investors and industry executives. Candidates will ideally be based in Miami or New York City, but remote applicants will also be considered. The MBA Associate must be able to start in September and join the firm on a part-time basis during the school year. Based on performance, the associate may be offered a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare 3-statement financial models and peer analytics
  • Assist with research for existing and future investment ideas
  • Perform basic valuation techniques
  • Communicate with partners on a consistent basis
  • Gather, prepare, and coordinate presentation materials
  • Participate in client and management team interactions

Qualifications

  • MBA student preferred for an internship with the ability to transition to a full-time position
  • Minimum of two years of relevant professional/financial services experience (investment banking, hedge fund, or private equity experience)
  • Passion for investing and research
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Superior communication and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, trustworthy, intellectually curious, and mature
  • Excellent academic background and strong cognitive ability
