Consulting Technical Director

 Oracle Field Service (OFS) Cloud Functional Lead/Architect

 

US Nationwide, Remote/travel

In this role, the Oracle Field Service Functional Lead will be working to understand customer goals/requirements, expectations and challenges, analyze situations/data, for configuring or developing business & technical solutions on the Cloud. You will advise the Project Manager & other partners from time to time on implementation aspects of the project. As an OFS Lead, you would be responsible for the overall delivery quality on the project by ensuring team’s alignment to standard practices and procedures.  Build an understanding of and leverage Oracle methodologies, tools and leading practices.

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent high quality & innovative solution leadership on OFS Cloud engagements by interacting with customers and other collaborators to arrive at optimal solutions.

Analyze and understand client goals, challenges & areas of opportunity to align Oracle’s Cloud applications for building optimal functional & technical solutions based on Industry Best Practices.        

Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations, present and articulate product features and benefits, and configure and test overall Oracle Cloud solutions that delight the clients

Optimally utilize the Oracle Field Service Cloud platform along with other Oracle Integration and web technologies to deliver world class solutions

Collaborate with Sales Teams to support business development efforts in pursuing new opportunities and extensions.

Arrive at coherent conclusions by undertaking sophisticated analysis/ application of reason / trace performance implications through complex data/scenarios

Prepare documentation detailing delivered solutions, integration & migration strategies, throughout the engagement

Adhere to all Oracle Cloud security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job responsibilities

Mentor junior consultants in delivery of their customizations and ensure the solution approach is in-line with the best practices & future product road-map

Ability to formulate a broader perspective of an issue by recognizing the inter-dependencies and inter-play between elements

Promote knowledge by sharing lessons learned, innovations or new skills with team members

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Excellent customer facing & interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all collaborators. 

Ability to travel and support customers across various time-zones.

Conduct regular evaluations of solution architecture and structure/maintenance of the environment management strategy/plan.

Participate/Lead new project “Wall Walks” of high-level standard business process flows and guide client towards best practices.

Act as liaison between Oracle Field Service Product Development Team and Consulting/Client Team to ensure client asks are heard, considered, and understood.

Experience / Expertise:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science (BCA/MCA/ BSc Comp) or a technical field from a reputed 4-year college/university
• 8+ years’ experience with Oracle Field Service Cloud
• Strong techno-functional skills in proposing and designing optimal solutions as well as including ownership of the overall solution.
• Experience implementing OFS UIs 
• Experience working with or as a part of Service teams and solutions including incident management, service requests, call centers and self-service
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions

 

Experience in the following applications is a plus

• Oracle B2B Service Cloud
• Oracle Integration Cloud

 

Certification in the following:
