Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Marketing Strategy Manager with an agile mindset to drive high-impact initiatives and optimize marketing performance. This role will lead strategic planning, market analysis, and campaign innovation to fuel brand growth and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of marketing strategy and plans, leveraging historical learnings and data insights, to inform consumer messaging that will drive awareness, consideration, and preference.
- Help develop bold hypotheses using behavioral economic principles where possible.
- Help expand our marketing learning agenda, taking an agile philosophy for continuous improvement.
- Support tactical plan development and execution in partnership with internal teams within digital, creative, in-store experience, and operations.
- Develop compelling creative campaigns that push the envelope without compromising brand integrity, ensuring all marketing materials are on-strategy and meet marketing, brand, clinical and legal guidelines.
- Tactics include email, paid media, affiliate, social, direct mail, in-store, and more. Must deliver work that is on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy.
- Track performance of key channels (including email, web, mobile and app), provide optimization recommendations and work with partners on execution to increase overall performance.
- Leverage data visualization tools to build dashboards for ongoing performance monitoring and trend analysis..
- Support the updating and management of marketing budget, including forecasting of projected expenses and margin expenses, and invoice submission and tracking process.
- Actively develop trusted relationships across a large, complex organization to create clear goals, accountabilities, and outcomes.
- Act as an independent self-starter and anticipate requests to properly execute projects and initiatives.
- Be able to negotiate compromises, have difficult conversations and manage up/across/down within and across teams in a positive and collaborative spirit.
- Proactively self-educate around retail and marketing industry trends to identify best practice opportunities and influence marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in strategic marketing, growth strategy, or related roles with a strong foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding
- 2+ years of B2C email marketing experience
- 5 years of overall work experience
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-motivated and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, making thoughtful decisions under tight deadlines
- Exceptional presentation skills, both written and verbal; comfortable engaging with key stakeholders to share strategies and garner alignment
- Experience leading creative agency collaborations, providing strategic direction, and ensuring alignment with brand and campaign strategy
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement
- Experience managing and optimizing budgets for multi-faceted campaigns
- Ability to adjust to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks based on evolving needs
- Thrives in a culture of open communication and collaboration, where team members work together to achieve common goals
- Experience in SFMC, Adobe Analytics and Tableau
- Strong expertise in data analytics, market research, and performance measurement
- Demonstrated success working in an agile
