Retail Sales Associate - Glendale, CA (Full Time), Amazon Style

We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. You will greet customers, help them find perfect outfits, and answer their questions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and a strong ability to build rapport with customers. This role is perfect for you if you are fashion-savvy and love to keep up to date with the latest trends and are passionate to help others discover their unique style.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner
- Customer needs and recommend products and services accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including arranging displays
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the profitability of the store
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Provide product knowledge and educate customers on product/style them
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Introduce customers to exciting Amazon fashion products and brands
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Operate our unique concierge tool seamlessly to help customers find specific products or brands
- Provide feedback to store leadership teams on customer experience and item recommendations

- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Be comfortable working in a physical environment. You can lift up to 49 pounds and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours. Ability to stand for extended period of time.

Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Normal working hours range from 8am-10pm

Basic Qualifications

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Are 18 years of age or older
- 2+ years experience in a retail or customer-facing environment (with at least 1 year in sales), or 1 year of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous Amazon Style experience
- 1+ year experience in visual merchandising or fashion styling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in use of technology

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $56,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
