What You Will Do:

  • Monitoring and maintaining MRO inventory and procurement operations for the facility; this role ensures our facility maintains adequate supplies for routine and emergency repairs and general operational supplies
  • Work in partnership with procurement buyers and maintenance staff to support site goals and keep the plant running with limited production downtime related to maintenance
  • Knowledgeable of SLA agreement responsibilities & Facilities Site Standards
  • Manage PO’s & invoices
  • Manage RFQ’s and down-select of future facility vendor contracts for site
  • EHS desk / SMART Site Admin
  • Prepare, solicit and analyze bid requests for indirect supplies
  • Unpack purchased material, verify product against packing slip and stock parts after receipt into inventory by placing material into correct storage location
  • Evaluate stock levels and inactive stock
  • Verify on-hand inventory quantities to accurately identify reorder needs on every item
  • Support Facilities Maintenance operational procedures that will serve to remove obstacles for the maintenance personnel and promote equipment uptime
  • Track repair material expenses against the budget
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Assist in tracking project expenditures as needed
  • Identify and evaluate new supplier candidates
  • Evaluates existing supplier performances
  • Lead investigation and resolve inventory issues, billing issues, and any other issues that may arise
  • Identify cost savings initiatives related to spare parts inventory
  • Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
  • Knowledgeable of SLA agreement responsibilities & Facilities Site Standards
  • SAP TEM proficient supporting 100% F&S organizational compliance to EHS training
  • Contractor Coordinator (level 3) support
  • Contractor Coordinator duties include creating JSA’s, performing required audits, and reviewing JSA’s with new employees
  • Work and maintain Contractor Approval system to allow approved contractors on site

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1+ Year of related work experience
  • Work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team
  • Must have personal computer skills
  • Ability to interact with vendors and plant personnel from all departments
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work overtime when required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an inventory or maintenance environment
  • Competent knowledge of inventory control and procurement as well as knowledge of parts/supplies used in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of plant systems and equipment
  • Able to receive constructive feedback and adapt to change within a dynamic environment, viewing obstacles as opportunities
  • Demonstrate the application of structured problem-solving methods and tools
