You will play a pivotal role in extending Maven’s mission to make healthcare work for all of us while advancing how metabolic health is understood and treated across reproductive, hormonal, and life-stage transitions.

As an Associate Medical Director, Metabolic Health at Maven, you will:

  • Oversee clinical quality programs, including peer review, chart audits, and side-effect escalation management
  • Ensure compliance with state-by-state tele-health, prescribing, and collaboration laws
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical escalations, adverse events, or complex medical cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design member pathways that integrate metabolic care with Maven’s broader women’s health offerings
  • Mentor and support a team of NPs practicing across multiple states, ensuring alignment to Maven’s quality, documentation, and equity standards
  • Stay current on emerging evidence, FDA guidance, and evolving regulations related to obesity medicine, compounding, and metabolic health
  • Represent the metabolic health program in internal governance meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the clinical organization
  • Provide direct member care up to 75% of time or as needed after initial build phase
  • Shape Maven’s national GLP-1 care model and set the clinical standard for safe, accessible prescribing
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and communications teams to integrate GLP-1 care into Maven’s broader clinical ecosystem
  • Participate in strategic planning for long-term scale and quality governance

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • Eligibility for or already licensed in multiple states via the FSMB Interstate Medical Licensure
