We are looking for an exceptional Safety Field Engagement Manager to join a dynamic Amazon team that delivers critical, meaningful content and insights to thousands of safety professionals, helping them to stay ahead of the ever-changing safety landscape and developing new ways to build trust. You have a keen eye for delivering content and messaging that are compelling, easy to understand, aligned with our business, and that inspire our safety teams to connect with the broader associate population in the peculiar Amazonian way. You will collaborate with internal business stakeholders (including, internal communications, business owners, policy makers, public relations, and product and program managers) to develop scalable strategies to increase the breadth of information we share and decrease the time and effort required to publish high quality content.



Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Globally managing a diverse team that is responsible for a wide variety of content that supports safety field teams, including messaging, awareness activities and tactics, internal key messages, town halls, leadership meetings, presentations, talking points, video content, web content, announcements, intranet/SharePoint content, and newsletters.
• Creating content that drives engagement with key safety field stakeholder groups by searching for, and developing, storytelling opportunities.
• Developing content and key messaging and bringing in best practice approaches to field safety team improvement, especially in digital channels.
• Working in a fast-paced environment to support the business to actively execute (corporate) safety engagement strategies.
• Creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent brand and voice for field safety programs across all channels.
• Evaluating, statistically, the effectiveness of our chosen strategies and tactics in order to continuously improve our messaging, branding, and content efforts.
• Creating and enhancing the safety master messaging to improve knowledge sharing across field safety teams, and with their respective internal comms partners.
• Managing the safety activity calendar, keep it updated and make balanced decisions in which activities to prioritize, support and execute.
• Managing communication agencies when needed.
• Research, write, and edit content with an obsession for quality and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications


- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or related field required
- - 5 plus years of corporate communication or marketing, managing complex communications processes across a matrixed organization, preferably in Safety similar compliance related field
- - Experience managing a large team and being a manager of managers
- - Strong command of the English language and the ability to write a compelling story
- - Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex technical and business concepts into crisp, user-friendly communications
- - Experience working in different mediums such as video, podcasts, social media, and for a multi-national, multi-lingual company
- - Experience developing and implementing content curation, intake, and editorial review workflows.
- - Experience establishing and tracking email and website performance metrics, with demonstrable success using performance data to drive continuous improvement
